Section N - Avalanche cover

What you are covered for

We will pay up to the overall limit shown on the Schedule of Benefits for reasonable extra travel and accommodation expenses that you need to pay if your pre-booked outward or return journey is delayed for more than 12 hours from your scheduled arrival time because of an avalanche.

Special conditions which apply to section N

It is a condition of the cover provided under this section that:

• You get a written statement from the appropriate authority confirming the reason for the delay and how long it lasted.

What you are not covered for

• The first £50 of each claim, for each insured person.
