Hospital treatment abroad
If you go into hospital abroad and you are likely to be kept in hospital for more than 24 hours, someone must contact CEGA Air Ambulance for you immediately. If they do not, this could mean we will provide no cover or we reduce the amount we pay for medical expenses. If you receive medical treatment abroad as an outpatient, you should where possible, pay the hospital or clinic and claim back your medical expenses from Cassidy Davis Insurance Services Limited when you return to the United Kingdom.

Returning early to the United Kingdom

If you have to cut short your trip and return to the United Kingdom under Section A (Cutting short your trip) or Section C (Medical and other expenses) CEGA Air Ambulance must authorise this. If they do not provide prior authorisation this could mean that we will not provide cover or we may reduce the amount we pay for your return to the United Kingdom.

Note to all insured people, treating doctors and hospitals

This is not a private medical insurance. If you need any in-patient medical treatment you must tell CEGA Air Ambulance immediately or we may not guarantee medical expenses. If you need any medical treatment, you must allow CEGA Air Ambulance or their representatives to see all of your medical records and information.
